IMPORTANT:

Caty Design Studio does not involve in the operation of the clients' web site in any case.
Caty Design Studio merely offer custom web design templates. The project is considered completed once the design is properly installed at clients' server and being acknowledged by clients.

General (Apply to all designs, please read thoroughly)

1. How do I receive the design?

All web design will be installed/FTP into your server. Others will be packed in zip format and sent to you via email. Clients are reminded to backup all the files once the design is delivered to you. Should you in the future require the files to be re-sent to you again, a fee of $250 per design is applicable.
FTP login info is needed for design installation purpose and for price confirmation in order to determine the exact quantity of header/footer set that the site script is using. All FTP info are secure and will be deleted once the design is completed! Please be reminded to change the password for added security.

3. Can I re-sell or redistribute the template/other designs that I bought? (Please refer to TERMS section)

Sorry! You may not! This is to ensure that the design is unique to each site and thus provide a quality layout for you. Contact me if there is any emergency needs to re-sell the template to others, a fee may apply!

4. Can I request for any modification on the design? (Please refer to TERMS section)

All designs which include website layout, banner and logo are custom designed according to your specifications that we have agreed on during the discussion phase, should there be any modification required 3 day after the design is delivered, it will be considered as new "feature" add on and will be charged and billed according to the work load needed. Contact me for the additional charges on this issue.

Note: New request for another revision of the design is not classified as "Modification" and therefore not covered under the agreed project fee unless otherwise specified. Due to extra time and works need to be allocated in the project when a new revision of design is requested, additional charges may apply.

5. What is your refund policy?

Please refer to TERMS section.

Caty Design Studio CANNOT offer a refund once the design is delivered to you, which you are responsible for understanding upon purchasing the design from us.
Please make sure that you've carefully read the related FAQ and Terms section for what the end product will be and the agreement set before the purchase.
The reason for this policy is because Caty Design Studio offer non-tangible irrevocable goods and you will have the full access to all the customized digital materials that are delivered to you, as such, the products cannot be returned.

6. Link Back to Caty Design Studio at the footer page?

All the web designs and logos designed by Caty Design Studio require a Link Back to Caty Design Studio to be placed at the footer/bottom of the site design.

IMPORTANT! A one-off link removal fee of $150 (applied to both web design and logo design) is applicable if the link back to caydesignstudio.com is removed. (Please refer to TERMS section for more details)

Question related to Web Design

1. Any script for Sale?

No. Please purchase your script from your script vendor prior to the web design job.

Note: There will be no script programming works involved, kindly contact your script vendor for any script related issues.

2. What will I get in the design?

The basic package includes the following files:

• 1 index page (based on your existing page content should there be any)
• 1 header page: Main Logo/Site name¹ which will be sliced and included in this file.
• 1 footer page
• All images will be in gif, jpg or png format. NO PSD files will be provided!
• Free design installation into your server. A ftp account information is needed.

¹ Logo/header images are part of the webdesign package which are limited to be used on website pages only. Should you require the logo/header images to be used in other means such as invoices, email signatures or any other promotional ads or banners, additional fees may apply.

4. Do you provide any template installation into my server?

Yes, all packages will come with free design installation into your server. However, there will be no script programming works involved, kindly contact your script vendor for any script related issues.

Any html codes correction/adjustment that are design related will be included in this service to ensure all pages which are clickable with main navigation links are properly displayed.

5. Do you modify the member only pages to fit into the new design?

Yes, as there are increasing requests by the site owners to modify these members only accessible pages. a fee is applicable.

7. How long will you take to do the design?

The usual time frame is about 2 weeks. Longer time schedule needed for webshop related design and other specially requested projects.

8. Can I resell or redistribute the template that I bought? Can I use it in another site other that the original site that the design is intended?

Sorry! You May Not! This is to ensure that the design is unique to each site and thus provide a quality layout for you. If you need to transfer the design to another new domain, a fee is applicable. Contact me in this issue.

9. Do you design template for all categories?

Caty Design Studio will NOT consider design for sites under the following categories:

• Adult
• Religion, ethnic related
• Gambling
• Money/gold exchange or fund related
• Any site that has ill intention to cheat others

Question related to Banner Design

1. What will I get in the design?

Banners will be packed in a zip format and sent to you via email. The images will be in either gif format(animated) or jpg format(static image). Flash format also available upon request.

Question related to Logo Design

1. What will I get in the design?

The logo will be packed in a zip format and sent to you via email. The images will be in either gif format(animated) or jpg format(static image). Flash format also available upon request.

For the Top Header which includes sizes for about 760px with NO Navigation menu, this package will include a header.html which codes all the images together.
